Maybe try and get out to Buck before the season ends ..... anyone been out there recently?

I am curious on ....

1) Boat Launch as I heard it was pretty shallow at the provincial and thinking of launching at the south end by the motor sports place. That seems to be the better option I think?

2) Hows the fishing? What's working, etc...

3) I assume the algae has died and sunk and taken the disgusting smell with it - hopefully that's the case.

Any insight or information appreciated and thank you in advance.

Was out last week. It was slow 5 walleye and 2 jacks, non legal size. Algae still in water but didn't smell bad. We put in on south side no problem launching but water is down a bit. Used leaches and minnows for a while but except for one fish we caught them on green jigs and Berkley power leaches

Haven't been in the last few weeks but the last time we caught about 30 walleye, every single one was about 5-7 cm short of legal. Fun to catch though. Pretty prodominant age class.
