Hey everyone. Quick question for you. If it's windy as in 20+ km/h winds does that shut down or make it hard to fish for whites. I'm thinking of trying Gull tomorrow but it's going to be windy. Oh yeah , I have a 8' pontoon and I'm a little crazy so the waves won't both me at all.

I find that when it is windy it is harder to catch any species of fish. You might get lucky with the weather however, as it might not be that windy today.

20-30 km/hr wind is not windy!:) Lethbridge

Best fishing is when the wind blows. And that applies to most if not all species.

Might be tougher for some to fish in though.:)

And any day you can fish is a good day.;)

Buddy, any harvest?

With Adwitt, I highly, highly doubt it. :)

Adwitt usually struggles to catch whites when im not fishing with him, and when he does hook up its no surprise when they get off before he can land them.

So...how did you do? Let me guess, "I never went" (went for 8 hours and got skunked) :thinking-006: :sHa_sarcasticlol:

Lol! :)

Hey, try Sylvan off any of the drop offs in 10-11 FOW. Chop on that lake is the surest of things for whites. Gives the hook great action.

It starts with a "p" to Mitch and sksniper. What you don't know any words over 3 syllables ? Figures. Thanks Snap.

I've only had luck catching whites on super calm days in the shallows when I can sight find them to know they're there first..

And they're still hard to catch I'm lucky to get 2-3 in a day in summer but maybe I'm not very good. Plus I've never tried talbot yet.

And the "p" word I'm thinking doesn't have 3 syllables so I'm confused now too haha
