With the water temp dropping every weekend, the fish have changed there eating patterns. In Sept. and first week in Oct. the walleye were stacked up in the fast water downstream of rapids. Waiting for the bait to come to them. And they were hungry lots of fish but not many huge ones. Now that the water temp. has dropped, they have moved into the slower water. Now it's the large ones turn to feed. Bouncing a jig and minnow right behind the boat works the best in cold water it keeps the bait right in the face.
The 30"ers weren't biting but the large ones were. The numbers have dropped a bit but the average size is getting bigger.
First light and the action has started.

All caught on the same hook and same hole.
Can't wait for next weekend.
