I called the governement with regards to my splitting PAL card. The card is cracked lengthwise right along the black strip, definitely a factory defect. I talked to some guy that said I have 2 options. I can send my card in and try to prove that it was defective or pay him $25 and he will reissue me a new card. I told him it was definetly a defect and that I would without a doubt send it back to him but now that it is hunting season that I cannot because I need to have it on myself while I am hunting. So the gracious guy said that he is feeling in a good mood today and is going to do me a favour and reprint me a card for FREE. What a nice guy deciding not to gouge me again. *%$#X
