Is there a group a guy can join to help/improve this lake as a fishery? I've lived there for 1 1/2 years and feel like it could be improved.

The lake was at one time pretty good the largest pike I've seen from their was 16 pounds an the perch fishing was awsome at one point with lots of 12 inches and bigger.The problem now is too many boats,development has ruined some of the critical spawning areas and their are certain people on the lake that constantly raped it of its fish,about 8 years ago a guy got caught netting the lake which he had over 50 pike in his freezer.Good luck with this one, I personally would not waste my time .Just my 2 cents

go for it , it would be nice to see the fishery improved as its so close , even stocking trout in the area ponds, like westcreek.

Does anyone know of groups that you can join just for Alberta fishing in general. I'm in Calgary and I'd love to see some of the bodies of water around the city with fish in them.
