Very good. Have had 2 but sold one to get LX-9

Have 2 Aqua vu, one vexilar and 3 Marcums.

Marcums are the best of the bunch, not that the others are bad though.

or build your own if you are even slightly handy. The parts from China are cheap and it is all plug and play, really.

I guess I should post a thread on how I did it.

But if you are buying, Marcum is the way to go.

Thanks for the replies so far. Marcum seems to be the front runner. Went to Wolverine and Sportsmanship Den in Red Deer and no luck at either place. Any suggestions?

I only like cameras to see what the bottom looks like, but it does help watching the fish swim up to your hook, then swim away, then put it in his mouth then spit it out when you think he has it then do it again than do it again,,,,, then swim away then you are so frustrated you will stick to just a fish finder/flasher or what ever you have other than a camera

I have the marcum 825 and it's been good but my buddy bought the Aquaview 715 and at half the price of the marcum I would say is the better deal after having used it for many hours. Just have to turn off the led lighting on them every time but otherwise very good choice for the cost. Match it up to the marcum camera Panner

Buddy of mine built one last year, turned out sweet...uses his laptop and cost him $150.00 for the camera, float, 50m of cable and all the other bits and pieces!!

Talked to the guys at the fishin hole and they recommended the aqua view av 715c. I've read marcum has had some quality control issues over the past few years

I've had both Marcum and Aquaview. I'll stick with Marcum.
