Carson lake ice ?

Anyone been there yet ? Thinking about going wed. I'm thinking it should be 4" or more.

No replies so probably not going to Carson. Might try another trout pond closer or mabe some perch. Should be able to walk on most lakes now if your very carefull and not stray too far from shore, I would guess. Drill lots of holes and check ice as you go is a given.

Just be careful. I went to Star lake on Saturday, it was 2 inches with about 3 inches of slush and floodwater on top. Star is small enough that it should have been easily 5 inches everywhere.

Had a local gentlemen out on his large pond yesterday drill to holes he had 7" of ice .And we are located in whitecourt.

Guys are not saying nothing cause Carson will be hot first ice. I am sure its got enough and I bet guys are limiting out fast...
