It has had ice for about 3 weeks now. We were first ones on 2-3" of first ice. Brookies are small but cooperative.
Be careful on the drive as there is evidence of a couple of vehicles that have gone over the side of corkscrew mountain

Hello,
Anyone know what the FTR is like or the road in to Peppers Lake? Is is passable or can I get close with a 2WD?
Not afraid to walk, snowshoe or ski in if necessary. Any info would be great.

Why on earth would anyone go in that way instead of the safer route.
