On Thursday, Dec. 12, in Bob Layton's editorial comment, he mused on the fact that under the new sex offender registry, current convicted offenders would not be required to register, for fear of usurping their human rights!! At the same time, the feds included everyone in the gun registry, not just new owners. He felt that the same rules should apply. His commentary made too much sense. I guess the left wing in our country prevails again.
