Looks like the usual big pressure ridge is set to go, a long line of open water off the point and at the beach. The ice along the shore to the sailing club looks like crap I wouldnt even try it on foot now. I will post some pics tonight

I will still be on ice, may need a boat to get to it :bad_boys_20:
I fished elsewhere obviously, had a decent day with 8 pike and a couple smaller walleye.

I looked Sunday the open water off the launch looked like it stretched out past the island

Was out a few days ago showed up with 54 baits and was out by noon.Their is ice ,stick to the bays and things should be fine. Always be cautious. Cheers

No not jack fish, to be honest I can't remember what the bay is called, we do hit this Bay every year at this time.

Is it safe to walk out on the ice from Kinbrook parking lot yet?

Anyone have an ice report for newell I will be out for New Years and I'm not sure if it's worth bringing the quad if we can play on the ice with it.

I was in the SW corner in a shallow bay on Dec. 21 and the ice thickness was about 11" in all of the holes I drilled.
