What's a wire worm look like ?
I've tied a wooly worm or two, but never a wire worm.

They look good.

Weighted with wire in the body material ?

Also noticed the abdomial (hook shank length) is on the slim side.
So this an artificial and does not represent a natural found where you
are ? Like a native dobsom fly or something like that ?

Not knowing the hook sizes, the body shapes look like caddis nymphs.
The colors look like artificials, attractors, Mickey Finn, that red and white
bucktail streamer, what was it called ... ?
With a silver tencile body. :mad0100: Can't remember, it worked great on
rainbows.
:)

Point is caddis nymphs are really small, hook size 14 or less.

Maybe wire worms are a hybrid between nat. and art. ?

The ice cream cone chironomid is a effective "wire worm" often out fishes the traditional wore worm in my experience. Whites in mind
