Putting line on a marmish rod

I'm not exactly known as someone who's good at putting things together- but I figured this would be simple, and it probably is, just not for me. I have the line tied to the reel and clicked into place but I'm not sure where the line should come out and thread through the different places. They give you a small diagram but I'm struggling here, it seems like the line is rubbing against something in the rod. Any pointers?
