Wondering if any one has been out to crawling valley .....how's the ice there?

We were out yesterday and the ice was 6"....Be careful of an ice heave on the west end of the lake....The ice was booming yesterday so bring an extra pair of undies:sHa_sarcasticlol:

The morning was beautiful but then the wind came up from the East and was not prepared for it..LOL

Is there any flood water on the ice?

I was at nw side there was 8". Ice didnt look good at boat launch though

When I left there was no flood water but the guys I was fishing left later and said there was an inch of water...Pretty windy yesterday so flood water was a given

Great reports guys. These are invaluable to so many of us. I've been chompin at the bit for awhile now. Gonna head out soon.
What depth are the fish at? The usual winter depths yet?

Be careful on the ice heave. It was pretty extreme. Good Ice though, bring cleats. Ate supreme s*** a couple times.
