Hey Everyone,

I have a few hours free tomorrow and I was thinking of sneaking out to Chestermere to get some fishing in. I've never actually fished Chestermere and was wondering if anyone has advice on where to access the lake.

I'm going to be bringing my 6 year old and we will just walk on. I figure if we can catch a few pike it will be worth the 20 minute drive.

Thanks,
Mike

there are few places to access the lake., the south end is the most popular , the north end by the bridge, also the park on the east side, this where i drive the quad on to fish. good luck

Go south past camp Chestermere. Take next right. Park right at the eastern out flow gates. Walk out 300 yards max. Should be about 9-10 feet of water.

Was there yesterday just north of the south dam in 6ft of water. Got about 20 little pike in 3 hours between 2 of us. Ice was solid 8-10"
Always fun there.
