I was going to do it last year but my party backed out. I did a bit of research and decided to go with Larsens General Store's Ice Shacks. $150 a night with 2 ppl.

Doesn't look like the shacks are out yet. It says to check for January.
If your planning on going on a weekend book as far in advance as you can. They go pretty quick.

I've never fished there actually. From what I gathered it wasn't a Lac La Biche or record lake, and of course hit or miss like anywhere really.
I think 3 - 5 lbs are fairly common (guessing from what I read up on). My cousin said it was really good fishing when he went there. I think our motivation to go there cause if I recall correctly your allowed to keep 1 or 2 a day.

I think there maybe a couple more places that rent shacks. "Lady hawk" was one I think that's not mentioned in the above link.

Lady Hawk hasn't been in business for a few years.
Try Road Runner cabins. I've rented from them about 4 times. Nice overnight cabins on shore and good shacks too.
