Now that I am retired and have lots of time to fish, I have been thinking about buying a dedicated ice fishing transport that I can also stay in overnight. I have used the old Bombardier tracked vehicles but they don't make them any more and most of the used ones are way past their prime. Has anyone actually owned or done much fishing in either of these two rigs? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would imagine that tracked vehicles would be a better choice when there is heavy snow cover. Wheeled vehicles seem to get bogged down in heavy conditions.
