Icefishing around Veteran and Consort area

Merry Christmas everyone, I am thinking on taking a job out east in the new year and wondering if anyone would have info on lakes in the Veteran and Consort areas. Does not matter on kinds of fish just like to get out, thank you

There is pond on the westend end of Consort south of the hwy that used to get stocked. Not sure if it still is. Blood Indian reservoir is stocked with trout as well, 18 km south of Youngstown. There is also a reservoir at Coronation that has trout and pike. It's on the north west side of town.

There are definitely some big pike in the coronation dam.
It's a bit of a drive from veteran, and especially consort, but Buffalo lake has some excellent pike fishing as well.
Closer to castor, there's huber dam, and a pond right in castor on the highway with stocked rainbows.

There used to be a stocked pond just west of Gooseberry lake. I moved away in 89 it was there then.
