View Full Version : Replacement Flasher Batteries?

Just a quick question.... has anyone had to replace a battery on a flasher? I was just wondering how easier the replacement batteries are, namely for a Marcum Unit (VX-1P)? I haven't seen any on any Canadian websites (fishing store websites), although apparently I could order one from Marcum directly. I'd rather not deal across the border if possible. Has anyone seen any batteries like this around? Would a specialty battery shop carry something like that?
Any tips are appreciated.
Thanks!

got mine on Amazon.ca
if your battery is flat mine took 4 3 days on the charger to get working again
I have had my LX3 since about 2007 and have gone through 3 batteries in that time. I use a 12v 8ah (I believe it is) for replacement which I have bought at Wholesale in Calgary for around $30. I am not too familiar with the VX-1P, but I'd imagine it runs on the same battery?

Try princessauto they have them from time to time

Battery World - they carry these in stock and on the shelf at all their locations. Go grab one. Around $ 40 for a 12v 9AH (which should be the one you need)

X2 , Battery world.
When I changed out the battery in my flasher, went from a 7ah to a 9ah. Just a little more lasting power. Same size battery.
