So only my second year on the ice and I only ever fish for Walleye and catch Pike and Burbot. I've never fished for trout or whites on a lake and I'm thinking about giving them a try this year.
I live east of Calgary and I'm pretty sure McGreggor has whites. Also pretty sure Ghost lake does also.
Trout I'm thinking Kananaskis and Chain lakes. The closer to Calgary the better as I can't afford to drive too far really.
Just looking for some suggestions on where and possible how to target them. I wouldn't mind an easy lake and a chance to chow on some Trout mostly, but I'll try white fish.
