seen 9 now, 3 of them came to a pred call while yote/ wolving over the years.
they just 'appear' from nowhere. not scared of me...just very 'fixed' on the situation. very slow to respond
they are really a funny looking animal, disporportionate small head, long legs big feet, longer back legs than fronts make sthem look like theyre always going downhill.

i would imagine a taxidermist can get one through a legal channel, especially if you get him to the job.
id consider a wolverine cased out and soft tanned.

where will i be able to get on for my wall?

I've checked with Fish and Wildlife and the only way to legally obtain a fur bearing animal is via a fur dealer (not the same thing as a trapper although a fur dealer might do both).

I've looked for critters like fisher and wolverine for some time but the only offers I've had is from Trappers.....I can't purchase directly from them......and must wait to make the connection with a Fur Dealer so that what I bring in is completely legal.

Hope this helps........Marco

:cheers:Hey guys, I know this trapping forum can get REAL SLOW, but going back a more than a year is real slow. Then again, I guess in High Level, they may not have HI SPEED internet ---- yet--:sHa_shakeshout:

Looks to me like that thing would probably go about 45-50 lbs?
I have seen what a cuddly well fed domestic cat can do to a guys hand when playing.I can only imagine the mess something like this would cause to someone's face or rest of their body if so inclined.

Absolute beauty that one.

The last two outfitters ive worked for had lots of furs for sale(both also have the trap lines in there areas). Mainly wolf and wolverine but also a few other animals. Many they sell to hunters then they are shipped to the states.
If you want wolverines and such it may not hurt to contact them.
