It's unfolding right in front of our eyes. Brent Crude dipped as low as 27 bucks.

and the price may go lower. production is adding 1 million barrels per day over consumption, and also before adding in Iranian production, which could be as much as another 1 million bpd.

Because you are purchasing your gas and diesel with Canadian PESO's Grasshopper,,,

When you can buy your fuel with USD ? Things will be much better :)

Once the Evil Canadian Peso is extinct , we all live happily ever after

This is kinda like the eighties except saudi arabia is nipping this one in the bud so it may be alittle less painfull.

It is good that they didnt try to prop the market up by cutting production otherwise they would have a tonne of spare capacity to dump on the market when they finally got fed up with cutting production while everyone else pumped willy nilly.

Well Holland just this morning declared France was in a state of economic emergency.

I guess Total will not be kicking out the cash like it used to. ( French Oil )

Just a matter of short time until the Alberta and Canadian govt declare an economic emergency. No oil royalties and the cash cow is out loose in the pasture.

You mean like in the '80's when the provincial Gov't. instituted a royalty holiday to get the economy of Alberta moving again?

Did that instantly revive the alberta economy? Lol, will a tarsand tax going from 1% to 0 help? Or those sweet heart deals for drilling the deep horizontal plays get even better?

Lots of alberta players had issues at 100$ oil, i highly doubt the government can fix that for them, government handouts are bad right ol'Hal?? Nothing worse than people/companies seeking government handouts to make ends meet;) Wouldnt that make the oil industry the same deal as wind and solar? Living on subsidies?
