Fishing in LA

I'm taking the family down to Disneyland in a couple weeks. My parents are also driving up from Phoenix and I was thinking of maybe trying to get a day or half of fishing in. Has anyone got any info about charter around LA or how the fishing is in February. It will probably just me the old guy going if it's worth it
