Good stuff! I'm a rum drinker mostly but Forty Creek is A OK, I found this honey spiced stuff and its real good too. I'm not a fan of most of the mixed booze but this one is excellent.
Usually just had the black label stuff but after this I hopped on the website and they actually have a few, but there hard to find in alberta it seems.
Pike Creek is another one I like

The Kirklands rye is worth a try. The only downside is that if you don't like it you are stuck with a giant jug of the stuff.

I'm a big fan of Forty Creek, but my second choice in rye (and I'm generally a scotch drinker) is Alberta Premium. Never underestimate it just because it is 'cheap', Jim Murray rated it a 95.5 in the 2014 Whisky Bible (that was before he lost all credibility for rating the Crown Royal Northern Harvest as the best whisky in the world :sHa_sarcasticlol:). It is made with 100% rye, and it is just fine all by itself with no mix, which is more than can be said for a lot of the more expensive rye sold.

I like wiser 18 year old but can't afford it anymore. 40 creek is smooth whisky but it not rye whisky, apparently corn, so I was told.

Try 10 year old Alberta Springs. I like it better then 40 and that's saying a lot as I really like 40 creek
