Last night there was a thing about suncken ships in Canadian waters and the oil / fuel leaking out of them. WOW ! Hundreds to 1000 sds of them out there starting from WWII till now. Still with millions of gallons of fuel and oil in them and the tax payer is potentialy on the hook for when they rust out and leak. We will have to pay for the clean ups ! The Gov know they are there and won't do anything untill they spill there guts and the slicks hit the coast line. The devistation of wildlife and fish that could happen when they do.

Just WOW !

Canadians always look for a way to be worse than the rest of the world. Another, Gotta keep em scared story. Ocean is full of sunken ships from all nations and crap has been seeping out of wrecks time immemorial. Ma Nature deals with it, yes there are microbes that eat oil.

There's more oil than that naturally seeping into the Athabaska River and it seems to manage. I'm curious how many of these vessels haven't already leaked their entire fuel stores, it's been decades.

Yup thousands of ships full of fuel and resupply tankers were sunk in the second world war, they lost fuel when sunk and some still might be loseing it, probably a few left with full tanks. Funny how nobody noticed or cared till now. Just more media fear mongering about a made up impending disaster about to devour the world. Must have been a slow news day.

And there are 10's of thousands of barrels of oil and gasoline and 1000's machinery and armaments at the bottom of hundreds of freshwater lakes throughout Canada specially Western Canada thanks to USMC and Canadian Politicians
