Propane regulators

Is it just my luck for regulator failure.ln my turkey fryer burner and now my smoker ?

Did both fail on the same bottle of propane or were they different bottles?

I guess it's like trying to refill the Costco bbq lighters Ronson doesn't work to refill.My son says there are different grades of butane.I remember a friend filled cheap propane and all lines had a waxy buildup

New ones are crap. Made in China. Have a number of older regulators kicking around that have been working forever. New BBQ and within 2 years crapped out.
