The Chinook has not only completely eaten the snow off reservoirs but has made the ice both slick & very wet. Some roads are more ice than mud too. I suggest sharpening your cleat edges and bringing a roll of carpet or something to stand on that grips and keeps your feet dry. or bag your feet. or just wear skates all day. s'posed to be plus ten tomorrow with winds to 40, though I'm sure the wind was a heck of a lot more blustery than what was forecast.

The other day at Crawling Valley it was like this, it was a soupy slush late in the day, night it was pretty much water, and finally didn't truly freeze over till 3 or 4am the next day. I just wore shoes, that was a mistake.
