Island Lake

Opps! Posted a question about Island Lake earlier and forgot to say the one by Athabasca. Thank You.

What was your Question? I was fishing that lake last week and was surprised at the size of walleye in there. Also a lot of small pike but got skunked on Perch.
By the way ice was about 12" thick and we drove all over the lake.

Thank you waterninja. You answered my question. I fished there a couple years ago and perching was quite good. Seen some monster white fish also but alas a lot of our lakes are not as good as they used to be.
