Hey Guys
Where would I take a suspected record book fish for weighing and how do I record my catch? I haven't caught one yet but I know we'd all liketo see our name in the record books one day.

Cheers
Brandon

Brandon,
Download the form on the AFGA website. When I caught the big mooneye I took it in to Safeway and the meat dept. weighed it no problem. The scales there are certified/calibrated.

I believe for a record fish to be certified a record 3 things must happen......
1) it was to be weighed on a certified calibrated scale
2) there has to be a witness
3) it has to be weighed on dry land

Here in Manitoba, weight doesn't count. All fish have to be measured in metric. Also a witness. There is a form in our regulation book.
