Keeley lake trip

Thinking about heading to Keeley Lake Friday and was wondering how the lake access is and ice thickness. Planning on driving out with the diesel....lots of floodwater in the BV CL region so not sure on conditions there. Any fishing reports?

I was out about four weeks ago and the ice thickness ranged from 20 to 16 inches. There were many nets set in the middle of the lake and we wound up parking right beside a large chainsawed net hole. I would say you will be fine with the diesel, just keep an eye out for those commercial fishing net holes.

Fishing was slow for us. We iced 6 pike and 1 walleye with around 8 hours of fishing and four lines in the water.
