I am planning a 2 day ice fishing trip up to slave lake and plan on using my Marcum camera both days. I know the battery isn't going to last a full two days of fishing and the cabin I rented doesn't have power. Any suggestions on how a guy could charge up a camera out on the lake without hauling a genny out? Is a portable inverter the way to go?

just an inverter for your truck should work.

Either a portable power bank or just a 12v lighter inverter if you are driving a truck out.

I have two spares for my marcum pancam. Not sure if they still have them, but Princess Auto sells the 12v 9amp for $20 so I bought two of them. Just bought the Noco GB40 from Canadian Tire as well...that will charge things up as well, has usb out and battery cable attachment.

I am going up there too and might just take a maring battery with the proper connections to charge things.

Good luck!

Cool thanks guys I think I will just pick up an extra battery. I will be out there February 9-10 staying in the Reel Time cabin by the provincial park...anyone wanting a beer and a bull**** knock on the door!
