Had the gopro set up watching a couple jaw jackers on a slow day. Found out later a big pike was patrolling the area. Always interesting seeing what is going on down there. Guesstimate with my minnow measure around 38 inch pike.

That's some great video. Those big pike know they are kings and queens of the deep.

That's super fascinating! Really interesting to see how the fish behave around the bait.

Good to see there's a few big 1's left cruising around that lake with all the breeding habitat destruction on this lake.... Used to see a few big 1's caught each year!!! Just need them to be out back, so they can keep contributing to the population!!!

What kind of mount did you use for the gopro? It looks nice and stable so its probably not hanging on a rope right?

I put the camera on a tripod.

Nice job on the video! That is a big pike alright. Nice footage overall. I like the ideas of the cruising pattern of the pike :test:

I'm not sure if you where trying to catch them or just record them. I can tell you if you removed that upper minnow, left the one on the bottom and twitched the line - almost hardly noticeable movement - when that pike was edging in, I bet she would picked it up. I've seen it so many times with big pike who do not strike when things are a bit out of the norm or a lot of movement. That is where a cam is so indispensable.

I use a plastic tobacco tin with stones in it. I disguised the tin to look like a stone.
I drilled a hole in the bottom of the tin and used a 'hot shoe' GoPro mount to attach the 2.

I got glued the antenna cable to the underwater GoPro door and just ductaped it to the back of the iPad.

These were just minnows under a jaw jacker being videod by a gopro that was not reviewed till I was home. I was fishing in other holes with the marcum unaware what was cruising around. This is not from an Aqua View.
