March 5 Bows start to finish.

Last minute decided to hit the pond and target some Rainbows. Iced 7 of them feeding at the 6 to 7 foot mark. They were feeding fairly aggressive until 2:00 Pm then it slowed down. Cleaned one for supper and will have the other fillet for breakfast. Delicious!!!!! Figured I better get out while I can.

We stocked our pond at our farm, there is getting to be thick fish in there. They are big enough they were biting on half a minnow. Thought I would give them a try. My son uses Powerbait all the time.

Nice fish I have an uncle who used to stock a dug out at his farm and would soak a 5 gallon pail of wheat for about a week then throw it in. All the fish you caught had bellies full of wheat. lol I used to say they were Alberta grain fed rainbow trout.

What are you feeding yours.

We used to feed them fish food, but did not like the taste of the flesh. These guys are all natural now.lol I like the Wheat idea, I will try it, thanks for the info.:)
