Where is the cottage you are staying at? BC is huge! Vancouver, vancouver island, east west south north? Kitimat? Prince Rupert. ... the list is long. Guide Service depends on where you will be.

As mentioned the where is important.
Your most economical fishing will be day charters where food and room are taken care of by yourself, which run $800 to $1000 for the day you might be able to work a price for a few days.
As with most things you get what you pay for, paying $600 for the day on a charter that is going to keep you in sub par/closer waters to save on fuel is just a waste. There are lots of sources to get info on charters online and through other forums. Call a few places ask what a days fishing entails and go from there.
