Don't think this ugly is related to our Walleye, if you caught one would you mount it or eat it ? The article says this fish died and got tossed back the fellow said he believes it's a "Longnose Chimaera", an east coast deepwater species rarely caught.

Chimaeras, aka rat fish, are very deep water relatives of sharks.
