Cold Lake Ice

Hey Everyone,

We're headed up to Cold Lake this weekend for one last go at ice fishing for the season. I was hoping that someone cold share the current ice conditions in the area.

Cold ! Lol. Not much snow , there is flood water and where we were , repeat , where we were , 14 inches.

Hey Teamprotz,

Would you say there is enough snow to run a snowmachine still? All that would be needed is an inch or two.

I was up there this weekend as well. There was lots of snowmobiles on the lake getting around with no problems. There is 14" of ice and 8" of snow. There was 2-3" of water under the snow in the afternoon due to the warm weather. You should be ok

Buddy had trouble with his in the morning when it was froze , track was heating. As temp came up and snow softened it was no problem. 3-4 inches I'd say
