Red Deer River at Dinosaur Prov. Park Ice

Just wondering if anyone knows whether this is ice free or not. Going camping there next weekend and wouldn't mind taking the canoe out.

Anybody? Just realized we can't fish here b/c of spring spawn. Bummer. But I'm happy they do close it down. Good for the fish.

I was at where the 36 crosses the river last weekend. It was flowing and open but lots of chunks od ice floating down. Water was high and muddy.

In drumheller, the river is wide open.
