Had a couple knives I build engraved. Very happy how they turned out.

That's a neat idea, and it adds character to the knife.
My question is what type of engraving? Laser etching or what? And how deep it is?

Where did you get the engraving done--jeweller, trophies? Can they do the engraving after the heat treatment of the knife? BEL

Yes this is Wyatts work. He uses some type of air chisel. He has done 4 engraving courses down in USA. He showed me some samples of buckles and such and has done a terrific job. The bolsters on these knives are 416SS which is quite soft and easy to engrave.

really dig those engravings! I've been looking into learning.. easiest looks like the electrolytic etching.
