I own 37 acres of land that is about 10 feet above sea level. Should I sell immediately cause maybe the ocean is going to rise or should I hold on to it ?

I'm sure Al Gore or David Suzuki would be glad to take it off your hands...they already own lots of ocean front property.

Sell, if you didn't need the money you wouldn't be asking your self.

If it`s in the South Pacific sell now while you still have 37 acres.

If it`s around Richmond BC, hang on to it - It was announced today they`re building the dikes 1.2 meters higher to deal with rising sea levels.

In some parts that is a selling feature, and advertised as such. Took this picture last year in the Tampa Bay area. Laughed so hard when I saw it I had to check my seat for wetness.

It's 2 feet higher than yours, and only 1 acre smaller. :)

EDIT: Notice it is zoned for a gun range?

I'd be more concerned with the 37 acres of sky that's going to be falling !

Oh no I never even thought about the sky falling on it. Wonder how much i'll have to discount it if that happens?:thinking-006: No longer have crabs but the lobster hut is only about 2 minutes away by boat.

depends where it is...maybe you could provide more details? in CANADA? east coast? west coast? another country? In many places the sea levels are rising, and in some others its decreasing. the ocean isn't uniformly level across the earth
