Wilsons beach access on Gull lake

Just wondering if anyone has gone on Gull at wilsons beach recently . Can I still drive on? Thanks

Hello everyone wanting to go out one more time this year thinking of going to sunset point can a person still walk out or is there to much open water between the launch and ice thanks

Probably not, in other words. I drove on Pigeon on Friday but the ice is much, much better there than Gull. Gull was crappy for ice at best this year.

By the way, Pigeon I getting more sketchy and it is quading for me for here on out.

If you are looking for an alternative, sylvan was fine to walk on (20inches of solid ice about a 5min walk from the launch). This was on Friday and there were 4 trucks on the ice. Lots of cracking starting though, so I prefer walking on

I measured 24" of ice last Sunday at Sandy Point, but 18-20" average. I drove on, but will be walking out for my last trip, you could see the top 2-3" getting white

Was on Gull today, several trucks still driving on at Wilsons. I quaded and a few walked.
20 inches of white fluffy ice, access getting a bit dicey
