I lost a sister that way. Same age, wound up in the river. No one saw her go in.

I lost a friend at 3 from what I was told, same thing, except it was a dugout.
Thoughts to that family, bloody shame.

Very sad, we were afraid that was what had happened.My wife's younger brother drowned in Crowfoot Creek which ran through their farm when they were kids. Life sometimes delivers us nasty blows.Our heart goes out to his family!

Condolences to the family on their loss.

Thanks to all the searchers who worked so hard to try and bring this to a successful conclusion. Sometimes despite their best efforts the final outcome is not what everyone hoped for.

Looked like Sgt. Paquet was trying to hold back tears, and keep his emotions in check when he was reading the statement.

A sad day for all involved.
