Perch jumbos to end my season

Seasons ending for me now. Had some good weather and really good fishing with friends. Also met a really good guy, off of the forum. 😀

Excellent Perch Right there. It always baffles me how that perch managed to live some 8+ years and for some reason finally decided to bight your hook that day. Why? we will never know. One thing is certain... they made their last mistake.

It was a descent trip out. The second day out, the lake shut right down.
Crazy how one day you can slay, next skunk ha.

Those big perch I know I've lost a few more than landed.. They can be tricky.
It's one thing to get them to bite.. But they can be just as fun to land. Fight till the end.
One suggestion is if you think there's a little pike on your hook play it like a perch. Cause it might be a jumbo!

Excellent Perch. Jumbo's like that are usually hard to find , never mind catch.
Battered perch is one of my fav's at any meal. Congrats on a fine end to your fishing season

Amazing fish bud and what a feeling hey??[emoji3]that was my March 28 the last season the whole season many attempts with nothing then last trip of season after hours of nothing then wham had my fist jumbo. All this season I've tried again and have been eluded again. I know the hard work it usually takes a person to track a few of them rare bugers down too. Congrats again
