Hi, I was wondering can anyone help me with a little project, I need to know how to tell the age of a brook trout.

I was in a fisheries class in college and I believe that you can tell how old most fish are by counting the annual growth rings in the fish's otoliths, which are boney structures in their "ears." Nice brookie!

you can also do scale aging... which is look at a scale under a microscope where your counting annual rings.

Cut it open and count the rings.
