chain lakes north end

I have always fished the south end with the kids and have always caught lots of fish with the kids, has anyone ever fished the north end ?

About 30 yds off the very north end off the spillway, they bite quite well, the only thing is you got to walk from the hwy, you could drive down the lake but that's a very long ice drive! Nice and quiet down that way, just a bit of a walk, one hit every minute, shrimp seem to work really quite well down there for me.

Once, nothing but little ones but lots of them...I know it's funny but instead of 11-13 or 14" ones, they are consistently smaller than that there....maybe a coincedence...
