Thanks for the tips and advice by text today Nicemustang. Today was good. We all caught fish. I caught 14 perch and a decent pike. jts1 caught 16 perch and our other buddy neil caught six perch. Hope to meet you soon for a day on the ice before the season ends.

Likely hard for you to understand without knowing the context of the PM's and text messages. But no worries, I'll make sure I don't give you any tips.

Love fishing Burntstick.Theres some good size Perch in there and you will get hits from Pike during the day as well on Jigs&Minnow. Planning on going out this weekend if the weather is decent.

Anyone going there for the first time, I would recommend checking the regs first. Be safe.

I just find it hilarious someone posts when they are AT the lake, wanting tips from the forum that same day. Is this really what online fishing forums are coming to? what happened to the good ol late night research done the night before studying depth charts. I guess everybody just wants the spots handed to them(as they are arriving at the lake) :scared:

Some peoeple are actually willing to help, that is the purpose of this board. Always willing to help people that helped me out and especially fellow Sask boys.

"Nicemustang, any lakes you DON"T know about? lol"

Nope, just the good ones though. I fish almost every weekend and been to lots of places in summer and winter. I have over 100 of sweet honey holes that I've marked over the years.

I am not sure what your status is on the board , But as for me I have made friendships , received great information and I hope gave some. Sending a post from the ice and knowing that someone will give you a response is a wonderful thing. There are a great group of guys on here with more knowledge than you or I could ever hope to have. Myself I think this forum and the guys on it are top notch , so feel free to post while you are on the lake or anywhere els for that matter. Because the sharing of information and helping out of friends is what this place is for. VIVA LA FORUM !!!

You are a tool man!!! keep your stupid comments to yourself unless you are informed and have something valid to add to the discussion.
