Season opener = fish cops & crowds

Just a reminder to have all your paperwork together and safety gear on the boat for the season opener this weekend. This time of year usually brings a lot of fines and hassles for people so stay organized! I'm thinking there's also going to be zebra muscle checks at the main launches as well so expect some delays if it's busy.

Just in case some are not sure or forgot what to have in their boats. Let's just list a few for old time sake. Baling bucket, whistle or horn, boaters licence, fire extinguisher ( I carry one), personal floatation device for all aboard, if fishing your licence for that, maybe an extra piece of rope, paddle or two and or oars, a throw bag with a rope inside for those overboard ones. I'm sure there is more, how about other members thoughts?
