So this is just one secret I will be giving. Sabiki rigs used for saltwater work wonders in freshwater. I just keep the two hooks instead of the nine they come with. Works great on trout, whitefish and even pike. Don't think they sell them here but for anyone willing to make them, give it a go!

Saw that on tv in which they catch bait fish for the bigger price of tuna!

Hate fishing....love catching....:)

We used something the same when we fished for bait( makeral) in Mexico.

Sabiki rigs are not new, I have been using them for about 6 or more years. Bought my first ones on ebay.

Lol I know they are not new but it is fairly new for Alberta i would think, unless someone has been using them for longer than I have. New is anything that someone has not tried before, which is a few people here.
