Water has warmed up to 56 from about 51 a week or two ago. Very nice, sunny and calm in the morning. fishing was slow for us, only 2 small wally in four hours and six small pike. Tried a variety of methods, but what seemed to be the best was to slowly drift from 10 ft. to about 25 ft. of water and drag a jig across the bottom. They did not seem to want ANY movement.
Guess our skill set was lacking, but the few other boats on the lake professed to poor results as well.
