Pheasant Population

Does anyone have any idea how the wild pheasant population is doing this year? There were lots last year, but I have only seen a few so far this year.

Well the hunting season was great with a ton of birds around.....

Bad weather down south here and really hard snow drifts will take their toll I'm sure, so it will be interesting to see how populations handle it.....

I have seen quite a few birds on the drive to work daily still, but its tough to judge this time of year.

about 3 weeks ago i was on the ridge looking for coyotes and i came across some low lands in that one area there had to be about 50 bird i just hope it stays like that if so it'll be good huntiing (milk river ridge)

say another 15-20 roosters out my pothole creek driving into magrath yesterday
