Haven't posted much lately, figured I would share a few of the fish I've pulled from the river so far this season. My third year fishing the river and it's by far my best yet.

I've caught more Sauger in the last 2 weeks then I have from my last 2 seasons combined.

And a few walleye. Got my personal best a few weeks ago at 29" but the pictures didn't turn out at all.

These are just a few of them. Been getting lots of walleye and goldeye this year. All these fish were caught on sturgeon gear/setups. Hope you enjoy.

Congrats on a great season so far. Couple of those sturgeon are a real nice size. Also good to see some young up and comers.

Awesome fish. Love your dog too. I sometimes bring mine, who actually looks a bit like yours, and holy crap does she get excited when I bring a fish in. All in all she can be a bit much to handle though, lol.

Awesome fish. Love your dog too. I sometimes bring mine, who actually looks a bit like yours, and holy crap does she get excited when I bring a fish in. All in all she can be a bit much to handle though, lol.
She comes with me more often than not. She is a very good dog, she just sits back and enjoys the show lol.

No just a short shaft prop. I'm very limited as to where I can go with it.

I'm a river guy. A day at the river trumps a day at the lake in my books. I miss fishing the Peace. Always fished the mouths of the coddote, whitemud, bear creek, notikewan, and wolverine. Homade pic rig, bacon for bait until you catch a chub, then strips of chub for bait. Best part is you never know what your gonna reel in.

Hey!! I think you stole our dog :)

Although our's is probably 8 years older than yours at least, but you have to admit the resemblance is uncanny..... Did you get him via Morley rescue by chance? That heart mark on the head is an interesting similarity!
