Jackfish lake near Athabasca

Was talking to some friends and they said that you have to pay to get into Jackfish Lake (I assume they meant op access the boat launch)

Any truth to this and if so, are there other boat launches available?

X2, was at jack fish by Athabasca 2 years ago. Dead lake, fish winterkilled and only a few boats on it. Pay to camp.

No idea, guys I talked to said nothing has been caught for awhile, at best you might catch hammer handles.
